Jay-Z Causes Spike in AutoTune Sales

I read an interesting New York Times piece about how Jay-Z may have done more harm than good with "DOA." Apparently, sales of AutoTune software have spiked since he released the song about a month ago.

That's too bad. Remember when the white t-shirt pandemic fad was plaguing young men back in the late 90s through early 00s? Jay-Z came to the rescue in 2003, with "Change Clothes," where he encouraged the button-up shirt, more tapered style that took off. I was hoping it would work again with the release of "DOA" but I guess not. Looks like we have to CLICK HERE.
